Dr. Dyke worked in a natural health store for a year in Danville, Virginia while beginning her studies as a CNHP. She then began to pursue other opportunities within the natural health field while continuing her CNHP studies, and beginning her pursuit of a Doctorate of Naturopathy. Her work has included individual consulting, wellness education, alternative therapies and product research since 2003. Dr. Dyke is also a contributing writer for livestrong.com.
Dr. Dyke is the wife of Capt. Christopher A. Dyke of the US Air Force Reserve and Hurricane Hunter unit, and mother of twins.
Laura A. Dyke received the desgination of ND (Doctor of Naturopathy) in August 2009 from Trinity School of Natural Health.
